"A happy camera ninja"
~ Mr & Mrs Charney ~
Hi, I'm Victoria Louise,

wife of nearly 10 years (I'm waiting for the husband to agree to vow renewal!), mum to 2 (very energetic) little girls and a dog mum (my boy) and I LOVE what I get to do for a living.
It’s honestly a privilege to be trusted to capture one of THE most special & intimate days of your life; your wedding day.
Ask anyone who’s been married and they’ll tell you: the day flies by in a heartbeat. Mine certainly did. I just wanted to relive it with my husband… but I made one big mistake:
I didn’t get a wedding video.
That moment sparked something in me.

So nearly a decade ago, alongside my work in TV, I started filming weddings. I quickly realised that capturing real love stories brought me more joy than anything else I’d ever done.

Now, I pour that same heart into every wedding I film, offering a small number of bespoke commissions each year so I give every couple my full creative focus.
I film with a blend of 80% documentary and 20% elegant editorial, capturing glancing looks, laughter amongst friends, and tears from granny. All the moments you don’t get to see on the day.
You won’t feel posed or prodded. Most of the time, you won’t even notice I’m there.

At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.
— Maya Angelou
When I'm not at weddings, you can find me renovating my recently but not 100% finished home (if you've done a renovation from scratch, I take my hat off to you!)
Your day is a story worth remembering and I’ll help you turn it into a lifetime of memories.

I don’t just care about how your film looks, but how it makes you feel both on the day and for years to come.
